I am continued to be amazed at how fast my eyes are healing (or working I guess) after the LASIK surgery. I went to my 1 day follow up eye doctor appointment and was already seeing 20-25 which I guess is pretty good for the day after the surgery. I sat in bed last night reading a book and just had to laugh when I remembered that I was not wearing my glasses. I had even asked the doctor yesterday how long before my eyes normalized and I could decide if I needed to look into reading glasses. I guess that question was a little premature. I ended up finishing a movie last night.
- The Fog: I did not have high hopes for this one and it was about what I expected. It was not really that scary and the special effects of the 100 year old ship and crew reminded me too much of the first Pirates of the Caribbean. The main female character I recognized from Lost (she played Shannon who died in the 2nd season I think). The male lead I recognized from Cheaper by the Dozen. I also recognized one of the minor characters from the short ran series Tilt. Anyway, don't see this film. I even broke one of my rules in that I don't ever watch a full screen (this film has been modified to fit your screen) version. In my haste to grab and watch as many library movies before they start charging for them, I failed to notice that this was the full screen version.
Thanks for reading my Random Thoughts.
Jon
