Blog Number 421

Greetings and welcome to today's random thought.

OK, I think I would like to be retired now.  I have worked a whole (1) day this week and I am ready for the weekend.  I wonder what it would take to retire in say (5) years?  That is too long to wait actually based on how I am feeling today.  I need to find a pile of money somewheres.  I did find part of a dollar bill today while walking from my work to my favorite pawn shop but it was like 15% of the bill and none of the serial numbers.  I looked around for the rest of the bill but it was not there.  The tear pattern was not real clean either so (using my CSI skills) I think it was ripped on purpose.  At any rate, I am not retiring today based on money found.  I did get a few CDs though for 50 cents each (no idea why there were not charging $1 like normal)...
  • Alanis Morissette - So-Called Chaos
  • Harry Connick Jr. - Star Turtle
  • Maroon 5 - Songs About Jane
I have had the Maroon 5 one before but got rid of it for some reason.  This also brings my Harry Connick Jr collection up to (4) CDs (all for less than $1 each).  This is only eclipsed by my Reba McEntire collection which now totals (6).  I picked up (2) DVDs for the kids for $3 each too (Cheaper By The Dozen and Daddy Day Care).  They just found them as I stuck them in their pillow cases while thay were at AWANA tonight.  They are easily impressed so I have them trained well (to be happy with the little things).  I did hit pay dirt at the Goodwill store on the way back from Decatur.  I got (2) CDs by John Elefante (of Kansas fame) and (2) CDs from Allies (their later, rarer releases).  There were dozens more CDs I wanted but I did not want to be greedy.  Maybe I will head back there in a few weeks as it is only about a (30) minute drive.

Well the kids are awaiting the tucking in part of bedtime from dear old dad so I better wrap this blog up.

Thanks for reading my Random Thoughts.

Jon
