Outsourcing My Body–Week 10

Well, It has been ten weeks since I outsourced my body.  On to this week’s summary…

Diet

It was an OK week for me.  The wife fed me well and I probably had too many meals that involved bread.  I did not eat out at all save for breakfast 1 morning at work and pizza / pasta out with friends last Sunday night.  I have still held true to no deserts or no soda.  I still have in my mind that I need to build a sustainable lifestyle and no deserts is probably not a lifestyle that will work.  I could probably go the rest of my life without soda though as I have not craved it at all this year.

Exercise

I have still only been walking my beloved Doberman 1.5 miles each morning (or 1/2 that on the one morning it was very windy).  I have not even thought about going back to the exercise video and the wife has not mentioned it.  I think she is happy with my progress from the first 6 weeks or so and is happy to let me slack off for the rest of this project.  That all could change I suppose if she reads this.

Weight

I gained 1 1/6 lbs. this week.  Part of it is the amount of bread based meals that I ate and part is a theory of mine that I have stuck to in diets past.  The basis of this theory is input vs. output.  I am trying to be delicate here but my “output” this week was rather small compared to past weeks (especially past good weeks).  So, due to this, I am not too concerned with the pound I gained this week.  I am still down. 22 1/3 lbs. since this thing began.

Other

I have only 3 weeks to go and the wife is has mentioned that she is going to purchase a detox / cleansing kit for me.  I have used these before and they contain extra amounts of fiber (among other things).  So I have that to look forward to before my contract is up with the wife.
